The 2nd conference on Islamic Management, Accounting and Economics (CIMAE) hosted by University Islam Indonesia (UII), had taken place on 25 July 2019 in Yogyakarta. 

The organising committee raised the topic on the current issues of the global call execution; sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, with the focus on discussing the role of Islamic economics in facing such issues in the local context.   

The researcher team from BAZNAS Centre of strategic studies took part in the event as one of the keynote speakers representing BAZNAS. The representative delivered the recent programmes of BAZNAS’ distribution which have been supporting the implementation of SDGs in Indonesia. Further, the team also elaborated on the concept of digitalisation of Zakat and shared some insights from BAZNAS’ innovative programmes which in line with such notion.

Briefly, with the 2nd CIMAE was conducted, the knowledge related to the issues arisen was comprehensively discussed with both industrialists and academics spoke for plenary session.
