On Thursday (10/06), training on the use of the NZI and Impact Studies application was successfully held in South Sumatra Province. BAZNAS South Sumatra Province together with the BAZNAS Center of Strategic Study (Puskas BAZNAS) held training on the use of the NZI application for all BAZNAS representatives in South Sumatra Province in order to make the implementation of the 2021 NZI and Impact Studies successful. Similar to the previous year, the training was conducted online considering the spread of COVID-19 remains high.

The training began with remarks from the Vice Chairman II of BAZNAS South Sumatra, Mr. Edi Purnomo, ST. He engaged all BAZNAS in South Sumatra to be able participate in successing 2021 NZI and Impact Studies. Next was remarks by Muhammad Choirin, Ph.D. (Vice Director of Puskas BAZNAS). He conveyed the importance of IZN in identifying aspects that need to be improved in the management of ZIS by an ZMO. In addition, he also conveyed an overview of the results of the 2021 NZI and Impact Studies in South Sumatra Province which in general, the value of the NZI’s South Sumatra Province was 0.56 (Good Enough).

In the main event, Abdul Azis YS, M.Sc (Senior Researcher) and Adhitya Kusuma Zaenardi, SE (Junior Researcher) trained participants to be able to use the NZI and Impact Studies application. Overall, the virtual training went smoothly and conducive. Each ZMO representative attended the training well and provided input and suggestions regarding the implementation of the NZI and Impact Studies in the future. Hopefully in 2021 all BAZNAS in South Sumatra Province can fully contribute to measuring 2021 NZI and Impact Studies.
