Makassar, September 13, 2024, The Implementation on Evaluating the Results of the National Zakat Index (IZN) and Zakat Impact Assessment (KDZ) 2023 for the South Sulawesi region has successfully taken place, with the aim of strengthening zakat management for the 2024-2025 period. The event was attended by the Director of Research and Development of ZIS DSKL National, the Chairperson of BAZNAS South Sulawesi Province, also Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, and Executing Staff of BAZNAS from all districts and cities in South Sulawesi.

This event is expected to serve as a strategic initial step to enhance synergy in zakat management across the South Sulawesi region. The workshop began with a detailed presentation of the National Zakat Index (IZN) 2023 results for South Sulawesi, followed by an in-depth discussion and an interactive Q&A session. The subsequent activities included technical assistance sessions for the 2024 IZN and KDZ data submission, covering:

  1. Technical trials for filling out the forms.
  2. Discussion of questions within the forms.
  3. Group discussions and Q&A sessions.

Participants showed enthusiasm throughout the event. As the closing highlight, all attendees declared their full commitment to supporting the National Zakat Index (IZN) and Zakat Impact Assessment (KDZ) data submission for 2024 through the Pinisi Declaration. This declaration is expected to strengthen performance evaluations and promote more effective and impactful zakat management.
