PUSKASBAZNAS.COM, TIMU - Center of Strategic Studies, The National Board of Zakat (Puskas BAZNAS) represented by Aisha Putrina Sari as Senior Researcher and Hidayaneu Farchatunnisa as Junior Researcher visited Timu Village, Bolo district, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara on Tuesday (31/07). 

Puskas BAZNAS has been welcomed by BAZNAS Bima District, Head of Bolo Subdistrict, Head of UPZ and the society. The assessment is carried out by conducting discussion and interview directly with the village head and the community representatives.

Timu village is located in the middle of the city and there are many shops, minimarkets, and a clinic. Nevertheless, there are still many low-income people. Generally, the condition of Timu Village is good. The local government gave strong support to develop the village. They have allocated budget to improve the village quality in some aspects.

The ZCD program in Timu village aims to improve the group of women who produce traditional pastries. Revenue for the sales of approximately 15 million rupiah/month.
