Central of Strategic Studies – The National Board of Zakat (Puskas BAZNAS) has the opportunity to visit Nanedakele Village located in Sangihe District in order to measurement Zakat Village Index. IDZ serves to assess the pre-program, the progress of the program and post-program evaluation whether the recipients are fit the target of the program align with the mission of zakat. On that occasion, Puskas BAZNAS  measures  Zakat Community Development (ZCD) program by using IDZ measurement tools. The problems and potential of the village are, for example,  water and sanitation problem and da’wah needs.

IDZ in Nanedakele Village conducted by interviewing the Head of Village and other personages of the village. IDZ measurements are intended to see if the programs that have been done are in accordance with the needs (post-program) or other programs that can be done in the village such aswater sanitation and da’wah programs (pre-program). IDZ itself measured the 5 dimensions of zakat distribution program through Zakat Community Development namely Economic Dimension, Health Dimension, Social and Humanity Dimension, Education Dimension, and Da'wah Dimension.
