On Friday, May 3, 2019, Puskas BAZNAS conducted training on using IZN's application for inputted NZI BAZNAS regencies data and survey of zakat impact assessment at Bumi Endah Hotel, Bengkulu Province. This training was attended by all BAZNAS regencies since this training was part of coordination meeting for all BAZNAS in Bengkulu province. The training was began with a presentation from Mr. Muhammad Hasbi Zaenal, Ph.D. (Director of Puskas BAZNAS) about an overview of National Zakat Index concept and followed by the result of 2018 National Zakat Index implementation in Bengkulu. Based on the result, the performance Bengkulu's NZI in 2018 was fairly good, even though there was a decline in both micro and macro value. This condition caused by low reporting of BAZNAS regencies to BAZNAS Bengkulu province. There was only two out of eleven branch of BAZNAS in Bengkulu Province, that submitted their data to Puskas BAZNAS, namely BAZNAS Bengkulu City and BAZNAS Bengkulu province. Also, low supports from the local government such as zakat management regulation and financial support made Bengkulu's NZI drop drastically from macro side value.

The training was closed by training on the use of NZI Application presented by Mr. Adhitya Kusuma Zaenardi (Junior Researcher of research and study division).  All participants were required to download the application from google play store and input their bases data into the application. Puskas BAZNAS has been developing the application since February 2019, more features like checking inputted data and editing data will be updated soon.
