On September 1, 2023, BAZNAS RI received an invitation from the Ministry of National Development Planning (Kementerian PPN/Bappenas) to participate in a discussion regarding the PPN Ministerial Regulation Draft on Innovative Funding. This initiative stems from the issuance of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 111 of 2022, which amends Perpres No. 59 of 2017, specifically focusing on the implementation of TPB/SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Under this new regulation, Kementerian PPN/Bappenas, as the coordinator of national SDGs implementation, is entrusted with coordinating the preparation of the Ministerial Regulation on Innovative Funding.

Starting from the beginning of 2023, various activities have been underway to prepare the draft Ministerial Regulation on Innovative Funding, particularly within the internal scope of the Ministry of National Development Planning. During this process, the Ministry sought feedback from BAZNAS RI. Additionally, external entities such as the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and others were invited to participate in the discussion meeting.

BAZNAS RI was actively engaged in this effort by sending two representatives from the Directorate of Research and Development of BAZNAS RI (DKPN ZIS-DSKL of BAZNAS RI) to attend the meeting and provide valuable feedback. The discussions revolved around enhancing new innovations aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and were directed to the Minister of National Development Planning.
