Assalamu’alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

All Praises only to Allah, the God of the universe.

May Allah pour out sholawat and greetings upon Rasulillah, the role model of life, bringing mercy to the worlds.

My brothers and sisters, let's hear the call of Allah in the Qur'an,

O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.

Brothers and sisters,

In this path of piety, I stand here inviting you, calling out, sparking the spirit of all of us, let’s welcoming Ramadan together with joy, with a happy heart, with a flowery chest.

Let’s make this Ramadan as a madrasah of soul and body in order to achieve the authenticity of taqwa, the real taqwa, the purest Taqwa to Allah SWT.

Brothers and sisters,

I believe that the God-promised piety is like a ray. The glowing ray. This ray of piety will radiate into our chest cavities, light up the working spaces, light up the city, light up the nation, the ray of piety will illuminate the world.

So that the souls will become glowing, homes and offices will glow, markets, streets, cities will be illuminated by the light of piety, this nation will shine the twinkling of light because of the piety of its people.

Brothers and sisters,

Let's prove that this path of devotion is a beautiful path. People staring at it become meek, fall in love to see it. The birds, the crickets, the tree, the mountain, the stars of this universe crave it.

With this power let us invite all Ummah and component of this nation to unite to build civilization, build the order of life that rise, together become a civil country, gemah ripah loh jinawi, Baldatun toyyibatun wa robbun ghofur.

Brothers and sisters,

This message of togetherness I convey, from this pulpit, to strengthen us. In order that we continue to improve ourselves together, so that these souls become better, remind each other in patience, remind each other in truth.

Come together making benevolences, caring for the weaker, helping the needy, feeding the hungry, giving a sense of affection for those who are orphaned and abandoned. Let’s cooperate, invite brothers, family, neighbors, friends, teachers, subordinates and employees to come to care and give help. Boost the Zakat spirit, set aside some of our own to help others in need.

Brothers and sisters,

I invite from this stage, let's intertwine, helping each other to fight for the raise of this nation. Our task is to build the best civilization, to be a role model to other civilizations in the world. Human beings are the best creation, so our duty is to be grateful for this creation in various races, ethnicities, religions that we can recognize and understand this wonderful creation of God with the greatness of the soul.

When all move together in all its diversity, with all the difference, I imagine a beauty. Like a benevolence orchestra, shaking the soul, echoing throughout the universe.

Brothers and sisters,

Let's be determined together, build virtues, build human values, build a more beautiful life. Humans do not deserve to be a threat to other humans. Let's sit together. Our enemies are poverty, idiocy, backwardness, greed and love of wealth.

I invite all of us to stand, from wherever you are. Let's rise, move together, help each other, with a strong means, body, and soul. This is the essence of the teachings of zakat, the teachings of piety.

May Allah SWT strengthen our resolve.
