BAZNAS: 2018 Zakat Collection Can Be Increased by 31.8 Percent
The National Zakat Board (BAZNAS) recorded an increase of the zakat collection by 31.8 percent. This is the total collection of zakat and other religious funds from BAZNAS and Private Zakat Institutions (LAZ) throughout Indonesia. The data will be reported in full and detail at the beginning of 2019. From the record, Central BAZNAS collection shows tremendous increase exceeding the target of Rp. 203 billion this year. This means 101 % higher from the target (200 billion) based on BAZNAS Working Plan and Annual Budget Plan (RKAT) 2018.
