Book Size: 29.7cm x 21 cm (A4)

The study BAZNAS in Indonesia’s Constitutional Framework: An Analysis of Godly Constitutions and the Fourth Branch of Government explores the strategic role of BAZNAS as a state institution in zakat management, based on the principle of Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa (The Almighty God) enshrined in the 1945 Constitution. Established through Presidential Decree No. 8 of 2001 and reinforced by Law No. 23 of 2011, BAZNAS functions as a centralized body for zakat collection and distribution at the national level.
Using the theoretical frameworks of Godly Constitutions and the Fourth Branch of Government, this study examines the relationship between religion and state governance, positioning BAZNAS as an extension of the government structure. The study recommends a zakat management model that balances state involvement and community participation, with the objective of enhancing transparency, accountability, and institutional relevance in promoting societal welfare.
