On Monday, June 19, 2023, the Directorate of National ZIS-DSKL Research and Development of BAZNAS RI made a working visit to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek) for an audience and consultation regarding Zakat Waqf Online University (ZAWOUNI). Zakat Waqf Online University (ZAWOUNI) is an e-learning platform to improve human resources in the management of zakat and waqf at the national and international levels.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Adlin Sila, M.A., Ph.D. as the Expert Staff of the Mendikbudristek for Institutional and Community Relations; Deny Kurniawan from the Directorate of Institutions, Directorate General of Higher Education; Muhammad Hasbi Zaenal, Ph.D. as Director of National ZIS-DSKL Research and Development of BAZNAS RI and team.
This meeting was held to discuss the direction of ZAWOUNI’s development in the future. The meeting began with the presentation of material by BAZNAS RI then continued with a discussion session. Kemendikbudristek gave very constructive suggestions for ZAWOUNI’s development. It is hoped that this working visit can strengthen the relationship that has been established between Kemendikbudristek and BAZNAS RI.
